Bogeul Bogeul is a ramyun timer that turns the instructions on the back of 137 ramyun packs into three or four steps, and shows the one thing to do now in large type while you cook. The app is in Korean.

Frequently asked questions
The timer ended but no notification came.
The App asks for notification permission the first time you open the cooking screen. If you declined then, turn notifications on for 보글보글 in your phone’s settings (on iPhone, Settings → Notifications). Even with notifications off, the timer and sounds inside the App tell you when time is up while it’s open.
I can’t hear the sound effects.
Check that 효과음 (Sound effects) is on in the App’s Settings. If your iPhone is in silent mode, sound effects may not play; the timer on screen keeps running either way.
The recipe differs from the pack I have.
The maker may have changed the recipe, for example in a renewal. The App’s recipes are checked against the makers’ official product pages, pack photos, and the government food information service, and products where sources disagree or are not fully confirmed are marked “check the back of the pack.” Send us the ramyun’s name with a photo of the back of the pack, and we’ll check it and fix it.
The ramyun I want isn’t there.
The App has 137 ramyun from Nongshim, Ottogi, Samyang, Paldo, Pulmuone, and Harim. Send us the name of the one you’re after, and we’ll see whether it can go into a future update.
I like my noodles chewier, or softer.
Choose 면 익힘 (noodle firmness) on a ramyun’s detail screen: chewy cooks 30 seconds less and soft 30 seconds more. Set a default under Settings → 기본 면 익힘; choices you made for individual ramyun stay as they are. While cooking, the ±10 buttons adjust the timer.
Where are my records stored?
Only on your phone. There’s no sign-up or login and no server that stores your records, so we can’t see them. That also means deleting the App deletes your records, and we can’t recover them. Depending on your settings, they may be included in your device backup (iCloud or your Google Account).
How do I fix my calendar?
Tap a day on the calendar to see its records below. Use 기록 추가 (Add) to enter a bowl you cooked without the App, or the trash button to delete one. To clear everything, tap Settings → 기록 지우기. The calendar and the collection share the same records, so clearing them empties the collection too.
What is 쿠팡에서 보기 (View on Coupang)?
It’s a link to the product page on Coupang, at the bottom of some ramyun’s detail screens. These links are part of the Coupang Partners program, and vaisoft earns a commission from purchases made through them. Buying through the link doesn’t change the price, and the App sends nothing from inside it, such as your records, to Coupang. Once Coupang opens, Coupang’s terms and privacy policy apply.
Is Bogeul Bogeul connected with the ramyun makers?
No. Bogeul Bogeul is made by vaisoft and is not affiliated with any ramyun maker. Product names, logos, and pack photos belong to their makers.
