vaisoft (바이소프트, the “Company”) explains here, under the Personal Information Protection Act of Korea, how the family IOU tracker invoice (the “App”) handles personal information. This policy applies to the App on iOS and Android.
1. Information that stays on your device
The amounts, tags, dates, recipients, notes, recurring and installment items, and settings you enter in the App are stored only on your device. The App has no sign-up or sign-in, and the Company runs no server that stores your records, so it does not receive or see them. The App has no analytics of the Company’s own.
- Backup files and tab images or text go only where you send them from the share sheet (such as a files app or a messaging app). Once sent, they are handled under that service’s policies.
- On iPhone, app data may be included, along with your other device data, in your iCloud backup or a backup on your computer. These backups are managed under your Apple Account settings, and the Company cannot access them.
- On Android, the App’s records are excluded from automatic backup to your Google Account. To move to a new device, move a backup file yourself.
- Deleting the App deletes the records stored on your device.
- Tapping Privacy Policy under Settings → About in the App opens this page in your device’s browser. Your use of the website is covered by the vaisoft website Privacy Policy.
2. Ads and Google AdMob
The App is free and shows Google AdMob ads: a banner at the top of the screen and, after you send a tab and tap Mark as asked, at most one full-screen ad a day. Ads are requested as personalized ads, based on your interests. To show and measure ads and to prevent fraud, Google’s ad SDK may process:
- your IP address (which can indicate your approximate location);
- device identifiers, such as the Android advertising ID and, on iPhone if you allow tracking, the advertising identifier (IDFA);
- device information, such as the device model and operating system;
- ad interactions, such as impressions and clicks; and
- diagnostics about app crashes and performance.
What you record in the App, such as amounts, tags, recipients, and notes, is not included in ad requests. The data above is handled by Google, not the Company, under the Google Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.
- On iPhone, before ads first load, the App asks through App Tracking Transparency whether you allow tracking. If you allow it, the IDFA is used to personalize ads; if you don’t, ads are shown without the IDFA. The App works the same either way.
- In the European Economic Area, the UK, and Switzerland, Google’s consent form asks for your choices about processing personal data for ads before ads load.
- In some US states, you can opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for personalized ads under that state’s privacy law.
- You can change your consent in Europe, or your opt-out in those US states, at any time in the App under Settings → About → Privacy options. This item appears only where the law requires a way to change it.
3. International transfers
Under Section 2, information is transferred outside Korea as follows.
| Recipient | Purpose | Country | Data transferred |
|---|---|---|---|
| Google LLC (Google AdMob) | Serving and measuring personalized ads, ad-related analytics, fraud prevention, and managing ad privacy choices (EEA, UK, Switzerland, and some US states) | United States and other countries where Google operates data centers | IP address (which can indicate approximate location), device identifiers (such as the Android advertising ID, and the IDFA on an iPhone that allows tracking), device information, ad interaction data, app crash and performance diagnostics |
- When and how: transmitted over the network when the App loads an ad
- Retention: as set out in each recipient’s privacy policy
- If you do not want this transfer, stop using the App and delete it.
- If you do not allow tracking on iPhone, the IDFA is not transferred; if you delete your advertising ID on Android, it is not transferred either.
4. Support emails and retention
If you email us, we process your email address, name, and message to reply, and keep them for one year from the date the inquiry is resolved before destroying them. Where a law requires longer retention, we keep them for the period that law specifies.
5. Your rights
- You can delete the records on your device by deleting the App. Because the Company keeps no copy, deleted records cannot be recovered. Delete exported backup files and sent tab images wherever you keep them.
- On iPhone, you can change whether the App may track you at any time under Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
- On Android, you can reset or delete your advertising ID in the device settings.
- You can change your ad consent, or opt out of sale or sharing, in the App under Settings → About → Privacy options, where it is shown.
- For data Google processes, you can exercise your rights as described in the Google Privacy Policy.
- You may request access to, correction of, deletion of, or suspension of processing of personal information from your support emails by writing to the contact in Section 7. The Company will act without delay.
6. Security measures
The Company takes the following measures to keep personal information safe.
- The App’s records are kept on each user’s device, not gathered on Company servers.
- Record contents are not included in ad requests.
- Ad-related traffic uses encrypted connections (HTTPS).
- Access to support emails is limited to the people who need it.
7. Privacy officer
- Privacy officer: the Representative
- Department handling privacy matters and complaints: Customer Support
- Contact: support@vaisoft.io

This Privacy Policy is effective as of October 17, 2026. If it changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
